I have finally got fed up with snow and cold weather so over the last couple of days have been visiting my allotment. For a few months I haven't paid it very much attention at all and had begun to wonder if the love of growing had perhaps left me...but no, it's back, thankfully, with a vengence!

Despite the snow, the ground was relatively easy to dig, and in remarkably good condition. Usually I wouldn't dig the soil too much this time of year but if I don't start now, I'll never get round the whole plot.
