After the hard (not all that difficult in truth) work, Dad and I turned our attention to the important job of collecting dinner and a few sweet peas. I have never grown sweetcorn before so I was incredibly pleased with it. Sadly, the mice got to the majority of the cobs before I did and stripped the corn pretty much bare...any hints or tips about how to protect corn from little munchy rodents? One of the farmers I work with suggested I planted more sweetcorn, so much so that they wouldn't be able to eat it all...I like the non-fatal remedies but not sure how much of the plot I want to give over to this particular crop.

Try 1/4” hardware cloth around each cob? Bleach or ammonia smelling cotton nearby, have to renew…
